In all of our years as students of Bible truth, we have to a firm hold on this idea: you can’t truly understand the details of the Bible unless you are willing to engage in personal Bible study, prayer and continually seeking the will of God. Understanding the meanings of the original Bible languages is an important step in making the truth your own. You can get the best sense or understanding of what are often very important nuances in the actual language of the Bible writer when you aren’t a slave to Bible translations for complete understanding. Remember, whether Jew or Gentile, God’s people can perish for a lack of knowledge, (2 Peter 3:9; Ephesians 4:15; Hosea 4:6) so discernment is always required. This only happens as you grow in spiritual maturity, building up the new man in Christ. May you continue to be blessed as you read, study, and pray about what you learn as you seek God's Spirit more fully in your life!
